At the heart of Taire du Grel, you will find this pretty traditional stone house. It has a private balcony overlooks the gardens and courtyard, with views of the forest-covered hills.
The balcony has a table and chairs, the ideal place to watch the hot air balloons pass in the early evening and the starry sky at nightfall.
The courtyard terrace is equipped with tables and chairs and a barbecue, and the garden beyond has a picnic table.
The large swimming pool is shared with the two other gîtes, and is surrounded by sun loungers and parasols and overlooks lawns and fruit trees.
Watch our free-range chickens explore the gardens, and enjoy the play area with table tennis, a giant trampoline, swings, badminton and a tire monster.
Enter into a large kitchen with a glass door leading onto the balcony dining area, with views out to the courtyard terrace and garden.
A second door leads to an open plan dining/living area, with a wooden floor, exposed original beams and stonework. A bright and fresh area with a comfortable layout. The traditional thick stone walls, shutters and ceiling fans keep it cool in summer, and there is a large wood burning stove for cosy and atmospheric winter stays.
A door from the living area leads to a cloak room, and ground floor bathroom with a shower, toilet and washbasin.
The wooden staircase in the living area leads to two bedrooms, with exposed original roof beams to the peak, ceiling fans and black out blinds.
The first bedroom has twin beds (2 beds 90x200) which can be pushed together. The second bedroom has a king-size bed (160x200) and a small adjoining bathroom with a bath, washbasin and a toilet.
A double sofa-bed is also available in the living area on request.*
Towels and bed linen is provided and included in the rental fee.
Cleaning is not provided, we kindly ask you to leave the gite as you found it. Thank you.

Dogs are welcome (on request) on the condition that you do not leave them alone in the gite. There is a fence around the perimeter of the grounds.
A 5th and 6th guest are welcome to stay the double sofa-bed in the living area, on request (additional guest fee applies*). Maximum occupancy 6 people.

The children's play area includes swings, a tire monster, a large trampoline with enclosure, badminton and table tennis. Ball games are also permitted on the larger fields behind the property.
The swimming pool is surrounded by sun loungers and parasols. Inflatables and ball games are permitted, and the pool is fitted with a safety alarm.
The honesty shop is opposite the pool, selling snacks, drinks, ice creams, and some other essentials, for your convenience.
